PAC024 12.7 mm Dia. N-BAF10/N-SF10 Visible Achromatic Doublet; EFL=31.8mm MgF2 400-700nm

The PAC024 is a high-performance achromatic doublet lens from the renowned optical components manufacturer, MKS/Newport. This lens, designed for visible light applications, boasts a diameter of 12.7 mm and an effective focal length (EFL) of 31.8 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of optical systems.

The lens is composed of two types of glass, N-BAF10 and N-SF10, both from Schott, which are renowned for their excellent optical properties. The use of these materials ensures high-quality imaging and minimal chromatic aberration. The lens features a multilayer MgF2 coating on both the front and back surfaces, further enhancing its performance by reducing reflection and increasing transmission in the 400-700 nm spectral range.

The PAC024's geometry is meticulously designed with a center thickness of 5.35 mm, an edge thickness of 4.3 mm, and radii of curvature of -13.789 mm, -136.299 mm, and 21.966 mm for the first, second, and outer surfaces, respectively. This configuration results in a compact, lightweight lens ideal for applications where space and weight are critical factors.
