PAC077AR.14 38.1 mm Dia. N-BK7/N-SF5 Visible Achromatic Doublet; EFL=200mm 430-700nm

The PAC077AR.14 is a high-quality achromatic doublet lens, designed and manufactured by MKS/Newport. This lens is specifically engineered for use in the visible light spectrum, with an effective focal length (EFL) of 200mm, making it suitable for a wide range of optical applications.

The lens features a 38.1 mm diameter and is constructed from two types of high-quality glass: N-BK7 and N-SF5, both from Schott. This combination ensures excellent optical performance, minimizing chromatic aberration and distortion. The lens has a thickness of 8.8 mm at the edge, with the centers of the lens featuring thicknesses of 7 mm and 4 mm, respectively, and an overall thickness of 11 mm.

The PAC077AR.14 is coated with a new AR-14 coating on both the front and back surfaces, which significantly reduces reflection and enhances transmission in the 430-700 nm range. This coating ensures optimal performance in visible light applications.

The lens is designed in a circular shape, with an inner radius of 0 and an outer radius of 0. The curvature of the lens is carefully calculated, with radii of 112.275 mm for the first surface and -96.298 mm and -329.996 mm for the second and third surfaces, respectively. This design ensures superior image quality and minimal optical aberrations.
