The lens is coated with Thorlabs' proprietary anti-reflection (AR) coating, both on the front and back surfaces. This coating, designated as THo AB ACHROMATIC AR, significantly reduces surface reflections, thereby enhancing the lens's transmission efficiency and overall optical performance.

The lens's thickness varies, with an edge thickness of 3.3mm, a center thickness of 4mm for the first surface, and a center thickness of 1mm for the second surface.
