The AC508-075-A-ML is a mounted achromatic doublet lens, designed and manufactured by Thorlabs. This lens is specifically engineered for use within the 400-700nm wavelength range, making it suitable for a wide array of optical applications. The lens boasts a 50.8mm diameter and an effective focal length (EFL) of 75mm, providing a substantial working distance and high-resolution imaging capabilities.
The lens is constructed from two distinct materials, BAF11 and N-SF11, which are strategically arranged to minimize chromatic aberration. The front surface of the lens is coated with THo AC400-700-A, a proprietary coating developed by Thorlabs, to enhance transmission and protect the lens from environmental hazards. The back surface of the lens also features the same coating for consistent performance.
