ST1XY-A-Step: A Compact and Lockable XY Translator with 100 TPI Drives

The ST1XY-A-Step is a compact XY translator from Thorlabs, featuring 100 TPI (threads per inch) drives and a robust design suitable for various optical applications. This cage system component, compatible with 30 mm cage systems, offers a versatile solution for precise linear motion in both the X and Y axes.

The translator features an internal bore diameter of 6 mm and is designed to accommodate optics with a maximum diameter of 25.4 mm and thickness of up to 12.19 mm. The ST1XY-A-Step is equipped with two adjusters, each providing a travel range of 3.048 mm per revolution, ensuring fine adjustments and smooth movement.

The device is compatible with both metric and imperial systems, offering flexibility for various setups. It features 4-40 tapped holes and can be mounted using 8-32 post mounting screws. Additionally, the ST1XY-A-Step is lockable, allowing for secure positioning of the optics during operation.

For convenient mounting, the translator includes four 4-40 tapped holes or the option for counterbored mounting using ST1CP. The ST1XY-A-Step is also available with a step file for easy integration into your optical design.
