ST1XY-S-Step: A Compact XY Translator with Micrometer Drives from Thorlabs

The ST1XY-S-Step is a compact XY translator from Thorlabs, featuring micrometer drives for precise linear movement. Designed for use with 30mm cage systems, this translator is ideal for applications requiring fine adjustments and precise alignment of optical components.

The device boasts a circular optics aperture, accommodating optics with diameters ranging from 25.4mm to 1.00 inches (25.4mm being the minimum diameter). It can house optics up to 12.19mm in thickness, making it suitable for a wide range of optical components. The ST1XY-S-Step is equipped with two adjusters, each providing a 0.5mm travel distance, ensuring accurate and fine positioning.

The translator is mounted on a 12.7mm post and is compatible with 8-32 post mounting screws. It also features 4-40 tapped holes for additional mounting options. The device can be counterbored using ST1CP for a more secure mounting. The ST1XY-S-Step comes with SM1 thread series, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of optical components.
