Polaris Ø1” Mirror Mount with 2 Hex Adjusters and Side Holes; Monolithic Optic Retention

The Polaris Ø1” Mirror Mount, model POLARIS-K1S4, is a high-precision kinematic optic mount manufactured by Thorlabs. This mount is designed to securely hold circular optical components with a diameter of up to 25.4 mm, ensuring optimal alignment and stability.

The mount is constructed from stainless steel, making it robust and durable. It features a monolithic optic retention system, which provides a secure and stable platform for the mounted optic. The mount is compatible with imperial measurement systems, with a post mounting screw of 8-32.

The POLARIS-K1S4 offers tip-tilt adjustments, allowing for precise alignment of the mounted optic. The adjusters are equipped with 3/16” threads and have an adjustment per revolution of 7.7°, providing a fine tilt angular range of 4°. The mount also boasts a pointing stability of 5 μrad, ensuring minimal deviation in the mounted optic's position over time.

The mount is vacuum compatible, with a vacuum compatibility torr of 1e-09, making it suitable for use in high vacuum environments. It also comes with a step file, POLARIS-K1S4-Step, for easy integration into optical designs.
